hello everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying their break!! So, I am having troubles with this project but I am trying my best this week:
Aeropostale: the stock went up a little bit and I think it is a very good stock to buy, so I am not going to sell, but I'm thinking of buying more stocks.
Abercrombie and Fitch: this one also increased, I think it will do very well in the future!! I will not sell this one either.
Kraft food: this stock went down for the weekend but I am not going to sell it, I am sure it will go up again soon.
Travelzoo: this one increased but not very much! I think it is doing well and I am going to buy more stocks.
Blackberry: it went up but very little. I am not gonna sell it because it will come up.
For this week, I am not going to buy other stocks but maybe next week when I feel more comfortable with this whole thing.
Hey everyone, I hope everyone is fine!
Today, I watched a video about 3D views. It is a new invention: 3D screens without glasses. This system works only on 120Hz monitor displays. The one who came up with this idea is Francois by Jonathan Post. It is pretty amazing, but they still didn't publish it or make it official. It is great that some people are thinking of good things.
This week's project is nice but I'm not really interested in stocks and stuff!
We are given "1000 dollars" and we have to buy stocks. Of course none of this is real, we are just playing with it. We created a spreadsheet in which we saved all the data. Some people actually do this as their job. It may be interesting for some people but for some others not.
Tomorrow is mc donalds sale!! Some people forgot to order, and today they wanted to order but we told them that we can't accept money anymore. I have a math project about tessellations, it's nice but a lot of work!!!!! I have to write about the 4 types of isometries and find examples of M C Escher's works. Then, I have to draw a tessellation. I am almost done with the research part and I am going to start working on it tomorrow.
1 week for winter break, everyone is so excited! Some people are traveling but I am staying here. I am just going to relax and stay with my family. This week is a little bit stressful because I have another chemistry test and math test. I am going to study during the whole week. In the past few days, the situation in Cairo has not been really good but I think now it is better. On friday, there was a "Buy Egyptian" campaign- 20% off on all egyptian products. All the malls were crowded, everyone was shopping.
Hey everyone, I hope everything is fine!
This week we don't actually have a "project", but there is an assignment. This week, we learned how to create forms, using google docs. It actually really good and simple. It facilitates a lot of stuff. What each one of us needs to do is create a form about anything and then post it on our website. Then, each person will go to everyone else's website and fill out their forms. It is really simple and it doesn't take time.
Today, I was looking for some videos about technologies in the future and I find a video about laptop in 2012/2013, which is not very far away. It is very impressing, it is a roll laptop. Actually, it is a laptop that is rolled and you carry it like a bag on your shoulders. When you open it, you can plug it in, and do whatever you want. Also, you can use an ipad or a touch screen and like a small screen on which you can watch movies. I think it is amazing, but the problem is that it looks a little bit ugly. I am sure they will come up with something that will make it look interesting.
I hope everything is fine.
Tomorrow I have a math quiz. Also, we passed out the mc donalds sale forms and last day to order is on thursday.
Today in IT class, we are going to do some stuff on code academy. There is a chemistry extra credit project about something in space. We are supposed to do a video about a project that could be done in space. It's something related to NASA, we have to submit it on youtube. Hania, Farah and I are going to do it together, we are going to start working on it today.
