Hey everyone,
2 weeks for WINTER BREAK! I am really excited.. Today, we got our chem test grade!!! Everyone got a really bad grade in this test, it was awful. We are going to retake it on wednesday after school. I really hope everyone will do better this time.Tomorrow, we are going to work again on code academy to see how we could actually write code. This project was actually hard, but the videos really help us because we had a reference to what we should have written down.

Top tweets per second  (in 2011)                                                                                                                      As 2011 is going to end soon, Twitter has given us a recap of the top events of the year. They arranged a top five events according the the tweets per second. In other words, the events with most tweets per second won first place. The first event was not the death of Steve Jobs, Usama Benladin or The Japanese earthquake. In fact the top one event was the MTV Video music award with 8,868 tweets per second. In second place came the execution of Troy Davis, in third place :FIFA Women's World Cup (7,196 tweets per second), then Brazil's elimination from Copa America (7,166), and finally New Years wishes (6,939).                                                                                    It's very interesting to know that these events were the top of this year.                                                             Baheya Mansi

hey everyone,
this week's project is different than any other project.
We watch videos and create codes for pop outs. What we actually do is we watch the videos : Lifehacker, then we write the code  in notepad. We save it as all files and then we add it to the website. We create a drop down under assignment called java and then a drop down to this folder for each lesson. Every code we create, we put it as a html folder( we copy and past the code) and then it automatically pop outs when you click on the folder.
By then end of this week, we should have 4 or 5 drop down menus.

Hey everyone,
Today the weather is really nice, it is sunny. Today in lunch, there was a bake sale held by 8th graders. There was everything, cake, cookies, cupcakes, pizza and drinks. Today, everyone in my class had to retake the english quiz we took on thursday because some people didn't get good grades. It was harder than the other one. Tomorrow I have a chemistry quest( something between a quiz and a test). Wish me luck! Today in IT class, we continued the coding thing we've been working on. It is complicated but interesting at the same time.

Hey everyone,
Coding is such an interesting thing. Once you start doing it, it will be very excited and interesting thing. It is hard but fun at the same time. When you learn how to do it, you get so good because it all builds up. Hasnae is becoming an expert at coding. She helped this week with the thing on codeacademy. The computer language is so amazing and I am really happy to start working on it in IT class.
